2022 Booker Wines Vertigo Paso Robles

Vertigo is our Syrah-based blend, showcasing some new varietals this vintage! It is spicy, structured, and always performs. The name is a nod to the steepness of the hillside on our estate where we grow the fruit for this wine. Anyone who has seen our vineyard crew drive a tractor knows that they are fearless—but even they take pause when staring down the rollercoaster slopes of our estate. Vertigo is his tribute to this unique and precipitous terroir. The 2022 vintage is a Rhône-style blend driven by Syrah, and with a kiss of Viognier to level up the aromatics of espresso bean, black raspberry and baking spices. Expansive flavors of black cherry and cacao cascade into a resonant finish that keeps you coming back for more.
